In recognition of the leading role of faculty members in universities and in response to the social responsibility amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, nutrition department faculty members, Dr. Faiza Al-Fakhiri, Dr. Salma Al-Faqi, and Dr. Mariam Al-Sultani are launching “The Libyan Family Guide – Nutrition and Coronavirus (COVID-19): General Recommendations”. This guide marks the initial step of a significant community-based scientific research project undertaken by this academic research team. We present this simplified guide to every individual in our beloved Libyan families, praying for their continued health and well-being.
