The Environmental Health Department anticipated the suspension of classes before any official decision was made by the Minister of Education. The department prepared plans for all scenarios and began coordinating among its members to initiate an education plan. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the department played a significant and effective role. Faculty members continued their educational duties through remote teaching. Lectures were recorded, and CDs were provided for students who might not have internet access.

Additionally, the department played a crucial role during the pandemic by providing protocols to the medical advisory committee, engaging with various stakeholders, and participating in educational campaigns through TV channels, radio programs, social media platforms, and medical training.

Today, the Environmental Health Department presented a plan for evaluating students remotely to the College Council for accreditation. This demonstrates their professionalism, commitment to their educational responsibility towards their students, and their ability to succeed in their distance learning program.
