The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Management organized a workshop titled: “Quality Assurance in Higher Education (Strategic Planning: Vision, Mission, and Objectives)”. The workshop was presented by Dr. Adel Al-Sharksi, a faculty member in the Statistics Department at the Faculty of Science, on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at the main hall of the Research and Consultation Center at 10:00 AM.

The workshop targeted the heads of quality departments in the university’s faculties and was opened with a speech by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Shaban Attarina. He expressed his gratitude for the valuable efforts of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office, led by its director, Dr. Azaddin Al-Darsi, and the entire management team, despite the difficult circumstances facing the university and the current challenges in Libya as a whole.

Dr. Adel Al-Sharksi explained the importance of strategic planning in achieving the quality of universities, providing clarification on how to plan the vision, mission, and objectives of the university, aiming to achieve them through a clear strategic plan, standards, and mechanisms.
