Based on The University of Benghazi esteemed reputation and leading position in Libyan postgraduate education, characterized by its reputable status and high level of its faculty and staff, it has managed to maintain its academic status despite the challenging circumstances it has faced. Therefore, we aim to preserve its distinctive academic identity locally and further develop it into a regional and global competitive advantage. This will be achieved by investing its resources efficiently and effectively to achieve quality in its performance and outputs, securing the rightful position it deserves, and contributing to sustainable development in society.

- Management Strategy: In pursuit of realizing the vision and mission of the office and in alignment with the university’s vision and mission to achieve academic, research, and leadership excellence, aiming to rank among Arab and international universities, the management has developed a strategy to promote and implement a culture of quality, rooted in values of integrity, transparency, fairness, openness, belonging, community interaction, and good governance.
Through achieving the aims and objectives of the Quality Assurance Management, which include:

- Promoting the culture of quality and performance evaluation to ensure compliance among all university staff through continuous awareness of the importance of quality assurance and performance evaluation through holding conferences, seminars, workshops, and informative lectures.
- Working on the development of academic plans and programs in line with global developments by ensuring continuous development and updates of all plans, strategies, and databases.
- Providing documentation and models to activate quality and performance evaluation and accreditation for undergraduate and graduate programs through ongoing monitoring of general policies to ensure quality and performance evaluation for all academic and administrative units of the university.

- Providing a comprehensive database for colleges to achieve institutional and programmatic accreditation and quality assurance and self-assessment for all university units for improvement and development, achieved through:
- Requesting faculties and administrative units to provide us with their executive plan at the beginning of each year and reviewing it.
- Requesting faculties and administrative units to provide us with an annual report of their achievements and work progress at the end of each year for review.
- Maintaining constant communication with faculties and administrative units to explain all aspects of the strategic plan.
- Reviewing the annual report with faculties and administrative units, addressing difficulties, resolving negatives, and supporting and reinforcing positives.
- Preparing a comprehensive annual report for the university to assess its achievements, continuous improvement, and development of its performance.
